Funambol Outlook Plugin Synchronisation Guide

The client software mentioned here is the Outlook SyncML plugin from Funambol.

This plugin is available as open source and can be downloaded from here.

Please note that this plugin is not an AddressBookONE product, therefore we can only offer limited support for it. If you require technical support for this plugin you will need to contact Funambol support directly.

Server Configuration

Once the plugin has been downloaded and installed you can start it either from the Windows Start menu or direct from inside Outlook.

In order to configure the plugin please select Tools then Options:

Please enter the following details into the Server section (as shown in the image below):

• Location: http://sync.addressbookone.com/
• User name: Your AddressBookONE login email address
• Password: Your AddressBookONE password

Sync Configuration

Click the Sync tab on the left to access the sync settings:

Contacts

To add Contacts support to your Funambol Outlook plugin please do the following.

Select the Contacts option, then click the Details button.

On the Contacts options screen ensure that the correct Outlook Contacts Folder has been selected.

Enter the following details into the Advanced section of this screen (as shown in the image below):

• Remote name: Contacts
• Data format: Select the vCard option

Click OK to save the Contacts settings, then click OK again to save the Account and Sync settings.

Synchronisation

In order to start the synchronisation process simply click the Contacts button.
